Course registration access has been organized into three tiers. Students should review the information below and individual course listings to determine registration eligibility.
Requests for registration before your assigned access tier cannot be accommodated.
Tier 1 – Priority Access (date to be determined)
Eligible programs may register during the initial access period.
Tier 2 – Expanded Access (July 22 to July 29, 2026)
Additional eligible programs gain access during this period. Students with Tier 1 access will continue to be able to register.
Tier 3 – Open Registration (begins July 29, 2026)
Priority Access restrictions are removed, and registration opens to all programs, unless otherwise noted.

Waitlists: If a course is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist through WebAdvisor. Spaces may become available before the last day to add courses, Friday, January 15, 2027. After this date, registration is closed and students can no longer add courses.

NUTR*4900 Selected Topics in Human Nutrition: Restricted to AHN majors only.
NUTR*4900*01 with Dr. Kathryn Walton Title: Nutrition Through the Lifecycle Description: In this section, we will explore exciting and emerging nutrition research across the lifespan- from early life to older adulthood. Papers have been carefully selected by Dr. Walton to highlight a range of research designs, along with real-life nutrition questions and key moments where nutrition has a major impact on health. Through group discussions and oral and written assignments, you’ll sharpen your ability to critically evaluate research and communicate your insights with confidence. You’ll develop skills that will be valuable in your career long after this course is over!
NUTR*4900*02 with Dr. Andrea Buchholz Title: Clinical Nutrition Description: In this section, we will investigate recent and exciting research in clinical nutrition (medical nutrition therapy). Research articles have been carefully – lovingly - selected by Dr. B. to represent a range of research designs in current clinical areas. The course involves oral and written critical appraisals of research. Three cheers for further developing your critical thinking and written and oral communication skills!
